Truck Mounted Crane
The course meets the Work Safe and NZQA requirements for operating these cranes. Contents of the course include:
Theory Presentation
- Site Safety & PPE
- Maintenance of equipment and Hiab
- Load security
- Rated Capacity and Safe Working Loads (SWL)
- Legislative Requirements
- Written assessment
Practical Training
- Maintenance Checks of equipment & PPE
- Slinging, lifting, maneuvering, and placing loads
- Securing Loads
- Practical assessment
Equipment:
Training will be conducted at the clients’ venue. A suitable lecture room needs to be available for the theory presentation, as well as a vehicle (with mounted crane) and various “dummy loads” for the practical activities.
Duration:

Certificate:
Successful individuals receive our “company” Certificate, as well as a wallet-size Operator Card. Retests will be conducted if required.
NOTE:
“Operator certification of competency” qualification needs to be renewed every three years.
